LIVE UPDATE: LE FLORE COUNTY UNDER TORNADO WARNING UNTIL 7 PM

7 p.m. Update: A Tornado Warning and Severe Thunderstorm Warning have been issued for Le Flore County until 7 p.m. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is also in effect for Sequoyah County until 7 p.m.

6 p.m. A Tornado Warning has been issued for the counties of Le Flore and Pushmataha until 6:30 p.m. Tornadoes continue to threaten the Oklahoma-Arkansas border, according to Meteorologist Travis Meyer. The tornado-capable storm is traveling northeast through southern Le Flore County.

Adair, Cherokee, Haskell, Latimer, and Muskogee counties are under a Flash Flood Warning until 9:15 p.m., while Pittsburg County is under a Flash Flood Warning until 7:45 p.m. A Tornado Watch is in effect for much of Oklahoma until 8 p.m. Keep an eye on News On 6 for severe weather updates.

5 p.m. Adair County is now under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 5:45 p.m.

Until 5:30 p.m., a Tornado Warning has been issued for Le Flore, Sequoyah, and Pushmataha Counties.

Haskell, Le Flore, and Sequoyah counties have been issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 5:30 p.m.

Storm damage has been recorded in certain sections of Tulsa, but no injuries have been confirmed as of yet.

4 p.m. Up to 4:30 p.m., a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Rogers, and Tulsa counties. According to the NWS, this storm is traveling north at 70 mph, and radar shows 60 mph wind gusts with quarter-sized hail.

Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, Le Flore, McIntosh, Mayes, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, and Wagoner counties are under Tornado Watch until 8 p.m.

3:30 p.m. The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Latimer, Pittsburg, and Pushmataha counties has been extended until 4:15 p.m. This storm is traveling northeast at 45 mph, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), and radar shows penny-sized hail with wind gusts up to 60 mph.

We're keeping an eye on a powerful storm system and cold front that will split the state. A few strong to severe storms have already formed in western Oklahoma Friday morning, bringing hail and powerful winds.

Temperatures may drop from the 70s to the 40s in some locations when the cold front sweeps through on Friday. The majority of the Tulsa metro region will get rain and storms throughout the afternoon, with the severity rapidly increasing by 1-2 PM.
