LATAM Airlines Flight Crashes on Peruvian Runway, No One Killed

On Friday, LATAM Airlines said that one of its passenger jets had an accident on Peru's Jorge Chavez International Airport's runway, but added that no passengers or crew members were hurt or killed.
According to videos shared on social media and seen by Peruvian media sites, the tragedy seems to have happened when the airliner hit a car on the runway.
Lima's main airport, Jorge Chavez, has paused all operations and is investigating the reason of the accident, according to Lima Airport Partners, which operates the airport.
Lima Airport Partners had previously said that no passengers had been injured.
Images sent on Twitter by local radio station RPP Noticias showed a LATAM Airlines jet partially on fire on the runway.
According to Mario Casaretto of the Fire Department, the plane's landing gear was malfunctioning.
Flight LA2213, which was involved in the disaster, flew on the domestic Lima-Juliaca route, according to LATAM Airlines.
