Greenwich Police have reported road closures and blockages

GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT — According to Greenwich police, Valley Road near Dandy Drive in Cos Cob is closed due to felled trees and wires, as is Manor Road.

Several more routes have partial closures, according to police, though they did not identify where. Crews and utilities are removing the bottlenecks, according to police.

Police advised homeowners to drive cautiously and to avoid any downed power lines.

On Wednesday, rain and high winds blew over the area. The rain is likely to stop as the night wears on.
