Blink-182 is returning for a tour for the kids, with Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker reuniting for the first time in over a decade. Furthermore, they've announced the release of a new track named "Edging," which will be available on October 14th.
From March 2023 to February 2024, the huge tour will include stops across North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Turnstile will accompany Blink-182 on the North American leg. The group will also headline Lollapalooza's Latin American events in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, as well as the return of Las Vegas' When We Were Young Festival. See the entire program below.
Tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster beginning Monday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. local time. A Live Nation pre-sale for North American audiences is scheduled for Thursday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code PUMPKIN).
DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2015, making room for Matt Skiba, who appeared on the band's two most recent albums, California in 2016 and NINE in 2019. Meanwhile, DeLonge has devoted to his other band Angels & Airwaves and attempted to show aliens exist; Barker has recorded with everyone from Avril Lavigne to Young Thug and married Kourtney Kardashian; and Hoppus successfully battled cancer for the greater part of 2021.
The silver lining to Hoppus' illness is that it appears to have spurred him and DeLonge to reconnect. In a recent interview with People, Hoppus discussed his cancer treatment, adding that the trio had spent some time together before his chemo began, and they were in "a very fantastic position right now." "I keep making music, and I'm open to whatever the next chapter of Blink is," the bassist stated. I'm optimistic about the future. "I'm simply happy to be here."
