Cine got injured late in the first quarter after a punt return and was down for many minutes. Before the youngster departed the field on a cart, trainers applied an air cast on his leg. As Cine was being escorted off the field, some of his teammates crowded the cart to wish him well.

Cine's leg was seen bending strangely in the video.

With the injury, the Vikings declared him out for the rest of the game, and the NFL Network's Jamie Erdahl stated on the broadcast that Cine was transferred to a local hospital for additional assessment.

Cine is in his debut NFL season after being drafted in the first round of the 2022 draft by Minnesota. Sunday was his third game back after suffering a knee injury during training camp and the first few weeks of the season. Cine has only played one defensive snap prior to the game.
