At a rally in Robstown, Texas on Saturday, former President Donald Trump criticized the House Committee investigating the January 6 insurgency of the US Capitol, calling its members "crooked individuals."

"They served me with a subpoena the other day." Consider this: they served me with a subpoena. "These crooks, these crooks," Trump said to his fans.

"And the only thing they don't invest in, they don't want to examine, the only thing they don't want to do, they won't probe, was the huge corruption that occurred during that election." And all of the data are there."

Trump also hinted at a possible presidential run in 2024.

"I ran twice, I won twice, and I performed considerably better the second time than I did the first time," he remarked. "We got millions more votes in 2020 than we did in 2016," he said.

"And now, in order to restore our county's success, safety, and glory, I will very certainly have to do it all over again."
