US President Joe Biden has declared the corona pandemic over. "The epidemic is over, but we still have a problem with Covid," Biden stated in a Sunday evening television appearance (local time).

In July, the US President tested positive for Corona and was given the Covid medication Paxlovid. Jill, his wife, acquired the infection towards the end of August and was also treated with the medicine.
On a weekly basis, around 390 individuals die in the United States as a result of Covid 19 illness. Two corona vaccines modified to the omicron type were recently authorized by US regulators. The two products are so-called bivalent mRNA vaccines from Biontech/Pfizer and Moderna.
