Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky was 'engaged in an automobile accident,' according to a spokeswoman.

"A doctor examined the president, and no significant injuries were discovered."

"Law enforcement personnel will examine all aspects of the collision."

Many individuals took to social media to express their support for him.

"Good luck and health to the President!" one guy commented.

"I hope that wasn't an assassination attempt on President Zelensky!" cried another. Please take care of yourself; you are our only chance!"

The automobile collision occurred shortly after Mr Zelensky returned to Kyiv from the front line, where he was meeting soldiers who had made fast advances in the previous week into territory captured by Russian forces.

According to his press secretary, Mr. Zelensky was not injured in the vehicle accident. (

Zelensky witnessed firsthand what residents in recaptured north eastern villages endured at the hands of Russian soldiers.

Despite the advances in territory, the large city of Kryvyi Rih is battling to keep Russian missile assaults from causing damage to its water supply.

It is the largest city in central Ukraine, with a pre-war population of 650,000, and was hit by eight cruise missiles on Wednesday, according to authorities.

This month, Russian soldiers suffered a surprise setback after Ukrainian troops launched a fast armoured advance in the Kharkiv area, forcing a hasty Russian withdrawal.

On Wednesday, Zelensky paid a surprise visit to Izium, Russia's largest stronghold and logistical hub in the area until four days ago, when he saw the raising of the Ukrainian flag in front of the burnt municipal council building.

Zelensky stated on social media: "In de-occupied Izium, our blue-yellow flag is already flying. This will be the case in every Ukrainian city and hamlet."

No structures were spared on the major roadway. A decrepit bath house had a hole blown in its side, as have butcher markets, pharmacies, a shoe store, and a beauty salon.
