One person is injured after a package explosion at Northeastern University: the FBI is investigating.
One individual was taken to the hospital.
Northeastern University was evacuated Tuesday night after police reported a "possible package that detonated," wounding one person, while the FBI joined the investigation.
According to Boston EMS, the individual was taken to the hospital. According to the Boston Herald, the FBI has entered the probe and is "coordinating with Boston police."
For the alleged explosion, first responders descended on Leon Street on Northeastern's campus.
At 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, Boston EMS tweeted, "Active Incident: Multiple #BEMS units rushed to Leon St. in Boston for a reported explosion."

"One patient was treated and taken to a local hospital by BLS ambulance," Boston EMS reported. "At this time, no more information is available."
