According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka faces a potential "substantial suspension" or other disciplinary action after breaking club procedures.

It's unclear what exact offenses Udoka committed, but talks are said to be ongoing.

The league is allegedly not involved in the discussions concerning potential discipline.

Udoka is gearing up for his second season as Celtics head coach. He went 51-31 in the regular season last year, leading the Celtics to the NBA Finals in his first season as a head coach, but they were defeated by the Golden State Warriors. Before joining the Celtics, the 45-year-old worked as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets.

The Celtics will hold a media day on Monday before the start of training camp on Tuesday in Boston. They will begin their season against the Philadelphia 76ers on October 18.
