FAIRVIEW, TX – A massive truck crashed over a bridge at the Allen-Fairview boundary, prompting emergency services to hurry to the site.

Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, flames and smoke could be seen near the Allen Premium Outlets, which are located just off the northbound lanes of Highway 75 near Stacy Road.

According to Allen police, the 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle, forcing it to crash into the right concrete walls. The tractor-trailer flipped over the overpass and landed on the service road below, catching fire.

According to Fairview police, the 18-wheeler driver died in the incident.

The second vehicle's driver was not hurt.

There looked to be letters among the rubble.

At this moment, the victim's identity has not been disclosed.

The service road between Cabela's Drive and Stacy Rd is also closed.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, workers are investigating the collision.

Anyone who observed the incident or has information about it is asked to contact the Allen Police Department's traffic unit at 214-509-4288.

Just previous week, an 18-wheeler driver was murdered after nearly collapsing on US-75 near West Bethany Drive. In such situation, the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The exit is only a few exits south of where the collision occurred on Tuesday.
