According to the school, one individual was hurt on the campus of Northeastern University after a package detonated.
The Boston Police Department, Boston Fire Department, and the bomb squad were all on the site of the probable explosion.

"The staff member received minor injuries and is being treated," Shannon Nargi, a Northeastern University representative, said CNN in an email. Nargi stated that the parcel was delivered to Holmes Hall.
The bomb squad and Boston Emergency Services are investigating, and the building has been evacuated, according to Nargi.
According to Northeastern's website, Holmes Hall is the center of the school's "Writing Center activities." The university police department tweeted that emergency services were responding to an incident in the vicinity and that people should avoid the area.
