Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis followed through on his pledge to deport illegal immigrants to Democratic-controlled areas by flying two aircraft transporting illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, a Massachusetts island where rich progressives such as former President Barack Obama (D) dwell.
"Yes, Florida can confirm that the two planes transporting illegal aliens that arrived on Martha's Vineyard today were part of the state's resettlement program to transfer illegal immigrants to sanctuary communities," stated a statement from DeSantis' office. "By designating themselves as'sanctuary states' and supporting the Biden administration's open borders policy, states like Massachusetts, New York, and California would better facilitate the care of these persons they brought into our country."
"As you may know, the Florida Legislature authorized $12 million this past legislative session to develop a program to expedite the transfer of illegal aliens from this state in accordance with federal law," the official added.
