A professor at Oklahoma College was arrested when drugs, guns, and a human jawbone were discovered on his premises.

After police recovered cocaine, firearms, and a human jawbone with decaying teeth inside his Latimer County home, a 44-year-old Eastern Oklahoma State College lecturer was charged with a plethora of crimes.

Bryan Denny, a tribe person, was charged with unauthorized removal of a dead corpse, possession of marijuana and a weapon, and distribution of a prohibited drug at the Choctaw Nation District.

His lawyers, on the other hand, stated that the charges were the result of a "retaliation effort by former friends and officers of police enforcement."

"The Choctaw Nation has decided to assist in this attempt to damage a good man's image by submitting unsubstantiated allegations." This is especially true in the case of human remains," they noted.

"Mr. Danny was given an arrowhead that had been passed down to him by a family member, which was resting next to another aircraft." Mr. Denny kept these items hidden and did not leave them on exhibit. The charge is merely intended to create a sensation."
