A FDNY EMS lieutenant was brutally stabbed in the neck outside a Queens station.
According to officials, an EMS lieutenant was stabbed to death outside an EMS station in Queens on Thursday.
At around 2:20 p.m. in Astoria, the 61-year-old medic was attacked while on duty at 20th Ave. and 41st St., according to officials.

She was stabbed repeatedly in the neck by an emotionally unstable individual, according to police sources.
The EMS lieutenant, an FDNY veteran of more than 20 years, was taken to Mount Sinai Queens but passed away there. Her identity was not immediately made public.
A suspect was taken into police custody. The culprit was not charged right away, and it was not right once known who he was.
