According to the Miami-Dade Fire Department, 4 persons were taken to the hospital following a watercraft mishap in the Upper Florida Keys on Sunday night. The United States The boat collided with a channel marker and capsized, according to the Coast Guard.

Around 6:30 p.m., the accident occurred. Biscayne National Park is located in Boca Chita, an island in the northern Florida Keys. Unlike the majority of the Keys, which are located in Monroe County, Boca Chita is located on the shore of Miami-Dade County.

There were 14 individuals on board, 11 of whom were hurt, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Captain Juan Garrandes of the Miami-Dade Police Department's Marine Forces first arrived at the scene of the accident, pulling some injured people from the water and transporting them to Elliott Key Island, from where they were transported by plane, according to a video provided by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
