On Tuesday, Netflix released "Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist." The two-part documentary follows the catfishing ordeal of Manti Te'o via the perspectives of Te'o and the offender.

While the video shows how Te'o has worked through the trauma over the last decade and has come to terms with it all, it doesn't go into detail on what the former Notre Dame football star is doing today.

Te'o began his NFL career with the San Diego Chargers before moving on to the New Orleans Saints and, most recently, the Chicago Bears. According to the Deseret News, Te'o is presently a free agent.

Te'o just posted on Instagram saying he is appreciative to everyone who has supported him since the catfishing incident broke.

"It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy, humbled, and grateful in anticipation of this collaboration with @netflix," he said on Instagram. "I'd want to thank everyone who has supported and helped me over the years. I'll be eternally thankful."

Is Manti Te’o married?

According to the Deseret News, Te'o married Jovi Engbino in 2020.

"I couldn't offer you everything in the world, but I think I did better... "I gave you my last name, Mrs. Te'o, and it looks wonderful on you," Manti Te'o said in an Instagram post on August 30, 2020.

"Yesterday, I got to marry my closest friend and the love of my life in a private beach wedding," Engbino said on Instagram on August 30. "Although it was not the ceremony we had envisioned, it was lovely." We will have our reception and celebration as soon as temples and venues reopen so that we may celebrate this beautiful moment with our family, and I couldn't be more delighted."

According to Te'o's Instagram account, the pair held a sealing ceremony in November 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple.

The couple has a one-year-old daughter.
