Halfway into their preseason opener, the Seahawks and Steelers. The quarterback battle in Pittsburgh was still going strong when these teams entered the locker room for halftime, with Pittsburgh leading by a touchdown thanks to some strong performance from both Mitchell Trubisky and Mason Rudolph.

Trubisky received the ball first and guided the Steelers on a scoring drive that lasted 90 yards and ended with a touchdown pass to Gunner Olszewski. Later, he made space for Rudolph, who made a spectacular toe-tapping touchdown catch with star rookie wide receiver George Pickens. Pittsburgh was able to start the game with a 14-0 run as a result.

Meanwhile, Geno Smith has received all of the work under center for Seattle as he continues to have a hold of the job over Drew Lock. So far he's been efficient, completing 10 of 15 for 101 yards. Smith also conducted a strong 61-yard touchdown drive with fewer than two minutes to play before halftime.
