David De Gea sent Josh DaSilva's shot  straight into his hands and targeted Beads early on when Ronaldo failed to call a foul after losing possession. 

Christian Eriksen  lost the ball to his previous club, giving Matthias Jensen an easy tap-in. 

 And Brentford scored third when Ben Mee leaped past Lisandro Martínez and headed in from close range before Brian Mbumo slid the ball past De Gea for a brilliant counter-attack. Scored the 4th goal. 

 After the game, Steve McLaren urged Ronaldo to applaud the Manchester United fans, but the Portuguese captain instead shrugged him off and ran down the tunnel in anger. Cavalry may be on the way for the Red Devils, as they have reportedly agreed a deal  with Juventus' Adrian Rabiot's mother and agent. 

 Is the effort different? 

Brentford's Ivan Toney and Jensen gave a very charismatic interview to  Sky Sports' cameras after today's match. 

Manchester United's transfer target Brentford striker stressed the importance of hard work for the Brentford side, saying: "If you work hard, you will get results like they did today".

 Tony, although not  on the goalscoring charts, was fantastic today.

 Brentford fans have been busy updating Ivan Toney's Twitter account after today's game, expecting a familiarly hilarious quip about their biggest goal threat. , after beating Arsenal 3-0, Ivan Tony delighted football Twitter  by tweeting  after the game: 

 Many fans expected the same thing today as Tony provided a Premier League record two assists, but it didn't happen.

Neville picks out Lisandro Martinez

Lisandro Martinez is an understated Premier League centre-back and Gary Neville made the wrong choice today against Brentford. In
