Florence Pugh has confirmed that she and Zach Braff split early this year.

After nearly three years of dating, Florence Pugh and Zach Braff discreetly ended their relationship in early 2022.

"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everyone has an opinion on," Pugh said in her September 2022 cover story, which was released Tuesday. "We just believed that doing something like this would give us the advantage of not having millions of people telling us how pleased they are that we aren't together."

"So that's what we did. When I talk about it, I get a knot in my throat."

Throughout their relationship, the "Don't Worry, Darling" actor, 26, frequently reacted to the criticism she and the "Scrubs" alum, 47, endured due to their age difference.

Pugh told the magazine that she believes she should not be judged based on her work choice.

"Whenever I feel that boundary has been crossed in my life, whether it's paparazzi taking private moments or moments that aren't even genuine, or gossip channels encouraging members of the public to share intimate moments of famous individuals strolling down the street," she remarked.

"I don't believe that individuals should be monitored and written about in every part of their lives simply because they have this profession." We haven't agreed to appear on a reality television show."

Braff has not officially addressed their breakup.

In October 2019, Page Six reported that the "Garden State" star and the "Little Women" actress were caught getting intimate at a Whole Foods in Hollywood.

"It was obvious to me that they're a relationship," a source said at the time.

Pugh revealed the affair two months later when she retaliated against an internet troll who mocked the age gap in her relationship.
