Following the announcement of Darius Campbell Danesh's death, his family has requested one question of fans.
The 41-year-old, who also had a great theater career, was discovered dead in his US residence, however the cause of death remains unknown.

"It is with tremendous regret that we announce the demise of Darius Campbell Danesh," read a statement. Darius was discovered comatose in bed in his Rochester, Minnesota, apartment room on August 11 and was pronounced dead in the afternoon by the county medical examiner's office.
"The local police department stated that there were no indications of malicious intent or unusual circumstances." At this point, the cause of his unexpected death is unknown while medical exams continue.
"We respectfully request that you accept our requests for privacy at this time as we cope with the devastating death of our son and brother."
The Scottish singer-songwriter and actor, who went by the stage name Darius Danesh when he initially participated on ITV's Popstars in 2001, also appeared on the original Pop Idol, which was won by Will Young.

Following Pop Idol, Campbell Danesh chose rejected a record deal from Simon Cowell in favor of working with producer Steve Lillywhite, whose credits include U2 and the Rolling Stones.
Colorblind, his debut song, was released in July 2002 and immediately soared to number one, kicking off a string of top ten releases.

Although he rose to prominence as Darius Danesh, he eventually changed his name to include his mother Avril's maiden name, Campbell, after an emotional visit to his grandpa at a Paisley nursing home caused him to focus on his Scottish ancestry.
After both of his parents were diagnosed with cancer and recovered, he became a supporter of cancer organisations such as Cancer Research UK.
In 2016, he also made his Hollywood debut as a co-executive producer on the horror picture Imperium, starring Daniel Radcliffe.
